Stand Up Paddle Feature Film - Waialua Community Center - Dec. 12, 2010
Haleiwa, Hawaii, December 6, 2010 – The Hawaii Premiere of the first standup paddle film Destination 3 Degrees makes its Oahu Premiere on December 12th at the Waialua Community Center in Haleiwa. Starring elite paddlers Morgan Hoesterey and Jenny Kalmbach who decide that to bring awareness to the plastic that is starting to liter the Hawaiian Islands they will challenge themselves to paddle the entire chain of Hawaiian Islands. This challenge turns into 300 Miles, 3 degrees of latitude, and the adventure of a lifetime. Directed and produced by Chris Aguilar who will be in attendance at the event, will make this a great evening to celebrate an amazing adventure.
Tickets are $10 each and available at the door and door open at 6:30 pm with the program starting at 7 pm. Waterman Titus Kinimaka will be shaping a standup paddle board and donating it to a raffle along with other items taking place this evening. Snacks will be available for purchase by North Shore’s Universal Juice.
